Why Homeopathy??

Homeopathy is a branch of alternative medicine. It now a days quite popular in many regions of the world.

It was developed by the German physician Samuel Hahnemann in 18th century. It is more than 200 years old medicine discipline.

It works on two theories:

• "Like cures like"— defines that a disease can be cured by a substance that causes similar symptoms in healthy people.
• "Law of minimum dose"— defines that the lower dose of the medicine has the very high effectiveness. The selected substance is repeatedly diluted until the final product is chemically indistinguishable from the diluent.

Substance of Homeopathic medicine are obtained from natural source like plants, minerals or animal. Homeopathic doctors (some time refers as Homeopaths) weaken these ingredients by adding water or alcohol. Then they shake this mixture that process is called "potentization." They believe this step transfers the healing essence. Homeopaths also believe that the lower the dose, the more powerful the medicine. They come in a variety of forms, like sugar pellets, liquid drops, gels, creams, and tablets.

Homeopathy has been considered almost safe and accurate medical treatments when prescribed by expert homeopathic doctor. As most of the medicine are made of the natural substance, its adverse effects are almost none.

Homeopathy works to treat the root cause of disease avoiding surgery or steroid.

Precaution while medication

Though homeopathic medicine is considered to be safe and not required to follow any strict restriction, but homeopathic doctors still prescribe few precautions which should be taken care by patient for better result of medicine. Like..

• Do not touch any medicine by hand. Use clean spoon to put it directly on tongue.
• Keep your mouth clean while taking medicine.
• Avoid meal minimum 15 minutes before and after taking medicine.
• Avoid smoking and alcohol during medication if possible and do not take medicine immediately after having smoking or alcohol.
• Avoid eating raw garlic, onion, coffee or any such strong odors food items which may affect the effectiveness of medicine.
• Must follow dose quantity and schedule prescribe by doctor. Do not change dose or schedule without consulting doctor.
• Keep the medicine tightly closed in bottle and away from direct sunlight, magnate, strong odors like paint or camphor.
• Keep the medicine at normal room temperature and do not refrigerate them unless directed by a doctor.
